Laws, memorandum and articles of association, as well as General Terms and Conditions

On 13 May 2004, the Berlin Parliament passed the Law Establishing Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) as an Independent Legal Entity. Besides this law, you can find here the Memorandum and Articles of Association, IBB's General Terms and Conditions, as well as the EU Understanding II.

Law Establishing IBB as an Independent Legal Entity

Within the scope of the demerger from Landesbank Berlin and the establishment of Investitionsbank Berlin as an independent legal entity, the Law Establishing IBB as an Independent Legal Entity was passed, consisting of the Demerger Law and the Investitionsbank Law. IBB thereby received a solid basis for its activities on which it can act in compliance with the requirements of the European Union.

Memorandum and articles of association of IBB

The memorandum and articles of association of Investitionsbank Berlin were adopted on 2 September 2004. They set forth, amongst other things, the legal form, the business, management principles as well as the tasks and powers of the bank's bodies.

General Terms and Conditions of IBB

The General Terms and Conditions of Investitionsbank Berlin set forth – in addition to individual agreements – the terms and conditions applicable to agreements related to the business relations between customers and IBB.

Information on record-keeping and storage obligation

In accordance with the legal requirement of Section 83 WpHG, IBB records all telephone conversation and any electronic communication with personnel in the treasury department who are authorized to make investment decisions or trade executions (plus assistant to the treasury department) and stores them for at least five years.
