Venture capital for Berlin
IBB Ventures opens up its venture capital fund for young Berlin-based technology companies and companies with creative business ideas. The 'VC fund technology Berlin II' and 'VC fund creative industries Berlin II' are currently in the investment phase with a total of EUR 100m.
As early-stage investors, the first-time investments are typically seed or series-A financing in which IBB Ventures and other investment partners acquire a minority interest. Together with the management of the portfolio companies and the co-investors, the IBB Ventures team works to achieve attractive growth and a sustainable increase in value from the time of first investment. The investment professionals also become actively involved in strategic matters when necessary, for instance, addressing investors as well as preparing and implementing other rounds of financing. The joint aim pursued by all stakeholders is a medium-term exit, often in the form of a trade sale to one buyer or an IPO.
