The IBB organisation structure

Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) is an incorporated institution under public law. After its establishment in 1993, it initially acted until 2004 as an independent division of Landesbank Berlin. On 13 May 2004, the Berlin Parliament decided to demerge IBB at the end of 31 August 2004 with retroactive effect as of 1 January 2004. IBB thereby began operating as the independent development bank of the Federal Land of Berlin and adjusted its organisation structure to the new situation.

The IBB organisation structure

The organisation was streamlined when Investitionsbank Berlin became a legally independent entity. The hierarchy has since been flat with just two management levels below the Management Board. The IBB thereby created a structure with clear-cut and transparent responsibilities.
